BUSINESS CLOSURE

Dear Customers, It is with great sorrow the we are having to inform you of our closure.

Ever since starting the business in 1995 we have given it our all.  We grew steadily over the years and have been appreciative for your faithful support and it has been a pleasure and a valuable education serving our community.

However, it has been a tough time to be a business with a significant percentage of losses to our business overnight due to Covid lockdowns and Brexit.  We are proud that we worked incredibly hard to re-open after our lockdown in 2020.  The experience has reiterated that our lives are truly valuable.  Since Covid and Brexit we have struggled with the ever-depleting stocks from our suppliers and staff shortages, which has put pressure on us trying to continue to survive and bring you the quality products you know. With the ever-rising costs we have seen over the past few years in Raw Ingredients, Gas, Electricity and Overheads, it has been a continuous wave of financial pressures on the business.

We have explored every possible avenue to allow First Choice to continue trading, but we have sadly run out of options. It breaks our hearts and brings us to tears to be informing you that we are having to close our doors. We are deeply sorry about this news and sadly have no other option but to close the doors of First Choice from 14^th October 2023.

We have been grateful for the opportunity to serve you and generations of families over the decades. We pray that in spite of the tears and the sadness due to our departure, that we will remember the great times, the seasonal banter, the jokes, the laughter, the prayers and all the precious qualities in ‘we’.  We are thankful for the many elders, children and adults who have blessed our business with their custom. We are honoured to have served so many generations. We have shared stories, cried together and grown together. We are grateful for this precious and unique journey.

We are deeply sorry again for this sudden shocking news and any inconvenience caused.
