First Choice Bakers is a family owned business and was founded in 1995. The company’s first production site was located at 1&2 Mahatma Gandhi industrial Estate, based in Camberwell. The business was set up to produce and supply the finest quality of Jamaican Patties, breads, buns, confectionery and other caribbean speciality items such as Duck breads, Drop buns and Cocktail patties.
The first retail store for this company was and still is located in Brixton at 40 Atlantic Road. The second retail Store opened in 2005 in Croydon at 28 London Road.
The company has expanded into one of the fastest growing wholesale pattie distributors in London and has become one of the UK’s leading producers of Jamaican patties and one of the most recognised names in the pattie industry.
All goods produced by First Choice Bakers are made from original raw materials. Over 40 years of traditional techniques and the finest quality ingredients are used to create a tantalising selection of Patties, Cakes, Buns, Breads, Confectionery and other specialities.
The business is focused on quality and has a passion to produce a product that customers not only enjoy but will remember and recommend to friends and family. Since the day of opening over 90% of all their business has been generated through word of mouth recommendation, so clearly the products speak for themselves.
